Dear J.Crew,

We used to be BFF's. I apologize for not spending as much time (or money) with you recently, but I'm on a spending freeze for a few months. However, I have a bone to pick with you regarding your "free shipping". Offering free shipping when you spend $100 or more is not FREE. I'm tired of the emails that fake me out in the subject line - I keep opening them to see if maybe this time, you'll just give me true free shipping ON ANY AMOUNT. But no, never. I can't hide a $100 charge from J just to get free shipping, so therefore, I guess we are breaking up. Keep in touch and let me know if you ever reconsider your shipping policies.

Seriously! I haven't bought anything from J.Crew in what seems like forever. I give up on spending WAY TOO MUCH MONEY for what you get and for always somehow ending up with holes in their clothing items. I'll only buy heavily discounted J.Crew from now on.

AGREED!! I think it was Milly that sent me an email the other day that was like "free shipping with a $500 purchase." Really???

Lands End Canvas is the way to go! They usually have free shipping and some type of % off about every other week. The stuff is super cute too! JCrew and I broke up a LONG time ago, I still wander back occasionally, but not enough to count!

I agree with you!! And the AMOUNT of email J.Crew sends is ridiculous!

I would almost rather *not* give them my email and just not get the discount!!

I am totally with you on this one!!! The free shipping thing is SO annoying. I have found that I have been spending less on clothes and more on housewares these days.
