Beautiful set of cake cutting knives from Pottery Barn with an "E" engraved on both handles. I adore them! So classic and we can use them forever. Of course, I stuck them in our "wedding closet" since I can't use them until the wedding!
A New set of Tervis Tumblers...with crabs! Love them...perfect for summer drinks!
We're having J's parents over this Sunday for Father's Day. Does anyone have any really good dessert recipes? Of course, J's mom is like Betty Crocker and I am NOT, so I always struggle to find good desserts to serve. Any easy and delicious recipes would be greatly appreciated!
Another busy week with 3 weddings again at work this weekend (can you tell its wedding season??)...Happy Wednesday! The only thing getting me through today is happy hour tonight with my girls! YAY!
I love tervis tumblers! Key lime pie is VERY easy to make if you can find Nellie and Joe's key lime juice. They have it with the lemon juice in the grocery store here. Just follow the recipe on the bottle and it is SUPER good! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI love those cake cutters!
ReplyDeleteI posted a pound cake recipe a while back that is really easy. I serve it with whipped cream and strawberries, and my in-laws love love it! Here's the link to the post:

ReplyDeleteWhat lovely housewarming gifts! Too funny, I am registered for that cake cutting set from Pottery Barn!
ReplyDeleteThat was so sweet of your parents and I absolutely love Tervis Tumblers! The cake knife and server set is so pretty.
ReplyDeleteAndrea at My Chihuahua Bites always has good dessert recipes.
Have fun at happy hour!
I love your new tervis tumblers. I want a set for myself...but no where to store them just now! I think cupcakes are always a great dessert option, I just got the new Martha Stewart cupcake book!
ReplyDeleteA Belle and her Beau posted a recipe for Peach Yums back in December that are DELICIOUS! I think they would be even more amazing if you used fresh peaches since they're in season right now.

for the recipe. Seriously so good and soooo easy! When I made them WEG told me that they were the best thing I have EVER made (and probably the easiest, but I didn't tell him that)
I stumbled upon this collection of no-bake Martha Stewart dessert recipes, and it sounded perfect for what you're looking for. :)
