Bummer

We didn't get the house. We didn't even get a counter-offer. They lowest price that they are willing to go is $20,000 more than the highest price offer we could make with our budget. So that obviously won't work. 

Damn, and I thought this was a buyers market. 

Yeah, did I mention the house has been on the market for 22 months? Not that I'm bitter...

    Oh no.. I'm sorry to hear that.

    I don't think it is that much of a buyers market after actually being out there.

    We got our house, but we are paying asking price.

    What a bummer! I have two friends looking to buy right now in NOVA and they're having a tough time too! Keep looking, the perfect place is out there!!
